On September 12 and 13 2009, Band family member, Gayle Hoffman (participant # 531964-2) will take part in the annual "Weekend To End Breast Cancer" 60K walk, in memory of her husband Don and her best friend Sandra Bannon (also part of the band family) who both died from cancer this year.

The Band is planning to participate by performing at the event and we are also looking for sponsorship for Gayle, in memory of Sandra who was a band parent and chaperone for many years.

Cancer has or will touch all of our lives in some way. Let's show our support to our Band Family and help Gayle on her journey to help eradicate this terrible disease.
